Bag of Reefer!

If you woke up one morning and say for shits and giggles you were in Laos...found a bag of reefer left behind by a newly acquainted friend along with his sunglasses from the night b4...say that this new friend of yours had invited you down to stay with him in his home town when you travelled through it in the next few weeks...the home town happens to be in cambodia and o right your new friend happens to be a mercenary...what would you do?

Well I would go and return his sunglasses and reefer wouldn't I. Well that didn't work out as we couldn't find his guest house...so we left his glasses at our GH and then left for the bus station.

What about the bag of reefer? Ah right...well Dec had warned us not to travel with any drugs...this was one of his strict rules...so what were we to do...i noticed that the seat on the bus behind josh and I had a crack in the cushion...so i hid the bag of reefer in among the folds of the torn up bus seat...voila not my problem anymore...

well it turns out that some of these public buses sometimes get high jacked as they carry a ton of supplies up north...when i say a ton of supplies I am not joking...the roof was piled 5 feet high...and the isles of the bus had bags of rice that we had to climb over to get to our seats. I wasn't worried about the little stash that i had snuck on the bus...there was so much shit on this bus that no one would ever find it...that is until a kid of all about 18years old carrying a AK47 climbs on board the bus and takes a seat...guess where...ya...right behind josh and I...josh and i laughed our asses off under our breath...i guess our little package was safer than anyone every expected...5 hours later josh and I arrived at our destination Vieng Vian...I didn't even look back at the soldier as we departed the bus...as the bus drove off i looked to josh and laughed...i wonder who will find that little stash...lucky bastards...

i guess Dec is right...don't travel with any drugs...it's not really necessary as one finds out very quickly that one can buy anything anywhere in this country...

peace
