48 hrs in india

what a beautiful city...i mean it's hot and dirty like many other cities i have travelled through...the people though are amazing...before leaving thailand i picked up the book On the Road by Kerouac which i'm sure most of you have heard about...it's about the beat nik generation of the 60s...love oneness peace...well it seems that i have found that here in india which is really cool...through couchsurfing i met pryanka and her father Anuroop who i am staying with and they are such beautiful people...i can't imagine better people to have met in a new country...anuroop is thinking of coming to meet me at burningman this year...the three of us do yoga each morning in the living room of the house...

i have met so many cool young friends in the first two days in delhi it's really amazing...no one wants me to leave delhi or india for that matter...Tato Lent me a phone and has offered to help me find grants to create art and teach...fasil, mickey and jiten are helping look for a bike...jaiver and great guy who bicycled from spain made me paellia for lunch yesterday...and mohitos...kamal invited me to stay at his retreat up north once i get there...infact i have so many people to stay with and hangout with that this trip is shaping up to be such a cool experience...friends for life...incidentally Tato is my adopted jewish friend...he says that he knows nothing about bikes but still insists that he comes along when i buy one as he knows about prices...it's the jew in him...lol...i feel blessed to have met tato and all my new friends...

this is a blessed experienced and i feel so honored that i have given this to myself...who knows where i will end up next...maybe teaching art to school kids...maybe creating art for the common wealth games here in India...turns out that it's easier for foreigners to get funding than indian's...
i know that i will have to comeback to discover the south...it will probably take a year to see this continent...so far that will be OK as i am sure that there will be more people that will bless my path as a move along it...

rest in peace
